Cannibal! The Musical

This is my first B-movie revue here, so I picked my favorite to be
my first. Cannibal! The Musical is a must see movie for any South
Park fans. Trey Parker(known as Juan Schwartz in this film)
wrote, starred and directed his debut movie while attending
college in Colorado. Matt Stone also stars in and produced this
Troma film.

The movie is about the legend of Alfred Packer, who was leading
a group through the treacherous Colorado Territory back in the
days of the Gold Rush. He was the 1st person ever to be
convicted of cannibalism when he was the sole survivor of the ill
fated trip. Packed full of cheesy costumes, musical numbers(that
will stay with you forever!), and some of the best one-liners you'll
ever hear.

If you watch it and don't like it, watch it again with the commentary
on. It is the funniest commentary I've ever heard!

*1 one star rating for Click! I wasn’t nearly
as impressed by the movie as I was by the
commercial. I kind of like Adam Sandler and his
cheesy movies. However this movie was far from
the cheesy comedic relief I was looking for. Not
only was the acting poor even for Adam Sandler
and Christopher Walken, but the movie was rather
depressing. He screws up his life, his health, his
marriage, his kids, and doesn’t even know it. By the
time he noticed it, he watches his daughter get
married off, his son hates him and his father dies. I
guess the last 5 seconds of the movie is
redeeming, but I walked away wishing I had rented
a Disney movie instead, hell, I would have rather
was Saw or The Ring.

*****5 stars for, What Dreams May
Come with Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr.,
and Annabella Sciorra. This is the most
thought provoking and heart retching movie
that I think everyone needs to see. Though, it
is a bit artsy fartsy, and if you are easily
distracted by colors and motions, you may
have a hard time fallowing the story. But it
does make you wonder about Heaven, Hell,
Life and Death, something that is so very
primal to the human condition.

*****5 stars for, The BoonDock Saints
with Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman
Reedus I don’t know about you, but there is
something sexy about Irish men on a mission
to kill and just plain fucking things up in the
name of God. I have no idea why I liked it, but
I found it pretty entertaining, witty, and damn
it, I want to kill a man with a toilet seat! They
are rather average guys, or at least, they think
they are. They both receive a message from
God and become vigilantes out to kill the
Russian mob. Not much stands in their way,
not even the justice system.

Shoot em Up is a satirical look at over the top
violence in movies.  Clive Owen plays a drifter
who inadvertently gets stuck protecting a
baby and a lactating prostitute while trying to
solve a twisted mystery. I expected to hate
this movie but found I enjoyed it in a guilty
pleasure way. The violence is comical and
well done and the story line is captivating. It's
got a sizzling sex scene that you DON'T want
to miss.
